International School - Master Plan
The International School, a private language immersion elementary school sited on a steeply sloping site in downtown Portland, worked with Hennebery Eddy Architects, Inc. to develop a ten-year master plan for campus expansion. The proposed design takes advantage of the slope to create terraces and rooftop play spaces; provides resolutions for traffic circulation, parking, and campus security; and creates a compact and efficient campus. The design also proposes an attractive and desirable campus, an important fund raising issue for the school. In all of this work, Hennebery Eddy Architects, Inc. remained focused on planning for spaces that will provide an inspiring learning environment and support diverse cultural learning programs for the school. |
