Knott Street Medical Building

 

This renovation of the former Multnomah County medical examiner’s building was transformed into a new state-of-the-art medical facility.  Knott Street Dermatology occupies the first floor of the historic building.  Their 4,460 sf space includes a reception space, waiting area, 12 exam rooms, offices, and restrooms.  Contemporary materials including bamboo flooring, glass tile, and eco-crete are utilized throughout the space to achieve a spa-like experience for patients.  Transom glazing at the corridor walls add to the contemporary aesthetic and allows lighting from the corridors to be shared into the exam rooms.
