Nike Footwear Design Division Studio
Hennebery Eddy Architects, Inc. provided architectural and interior design services after winning an invitational design competition for the consolidation of the Footwear Design Division on the dramatic 10,000 square foot mezzanine in the Mia Hamm Building on the NIKE World Campus. Specific client goals included developing a concept that encourages interaction between design teams while simultaneously allowing for private work space for designers to focus. We designed 52 user-definable custom workstations, and a range of informal presentation and meeting spaces. To moderate the scale of the space we added two large tensile fabric structures and a large wall at the mezzanine’s edge creating a presentation space.
