Port of Portland International Airport - Governor Victor Atiyeh International Concourse Designation

We designed interior improvements for this permanent exhibit highlighting the life achievements of the former Oregon state governor.  A thirty foot long glass display wall showcases written and visual exhibits. A life size bronze statue of the Governor by artist Bill Bain stands at the center of the concourse.  Interior finishes were replaced to brighten the area and to visually connect the statue and display wall.  A slight color change to the lighting above the statue sets it apart from adjacent areas. Materials and color selections were designed to be in keeping with the architectural language of the existing airport finishes.
