TriMet South Terminus
High aspirations for this pivotal site in downtown Portland transformed what would normally be a perfunctory infrastructure project into one that is completely powered by renewable resources, provides public open space, and marks this important urban site with a large scale, sustainable structure. The dynamic nature of the site constraints inform the design and generate a sculptural framework clad in a photovoltaic array and coil drapery.
