Wilsonville Park Structures
The simple but gracious gable-roofed structures are rendered in well-crafted natural stone, clear finished wood framing and siding, exposed concrete, and metal roofs were intended to convey a sense of permanence and quality while complementing the rolling terrain of the park with its backdrop of natural areas. Steel moment frames open the underside of the roofs to full volume. At the north restroom, the extended roof overhangs offer spaces for picnicking and gathering. A large skylight illuminates the covered area and extends into the structure over the restrooms which further share light through translucent interior clerestories.
