Hennebery Eddy Architects is a firm driven by the values and pioneering spirit of the Pacific Northwest. We have established ourselves as leaders by making a significant impact on our region’s built environment while serving as good stewards of the profession. Established in 1992, the firm has flourished on the foundation cast by founding Principals Timothy R. Eddy and the late Stephen J. Hennebery, who sought to create a collaborative design firm of architects who share a passion for architecture and possess an interminable work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit. As we have grown, we have retained the creative spirit and energy of an emerging firm while gaining experience and building our portfolio. Firm leadership has expanded to include Principals Alan Osborne, David Wark, Michelle Vo, and Debbie Rogers, and we have attracted ambitious young architects and designers excited by the opportunity to contribute to the ethos and direction of our firm.
At Hennebery Eddy our work is characterized by well-crafted and thoughtfully detailed designs that respond to our clients’ needs, respect the underlying organization of their site, and strengthen their context. We have established a portfolio of responsive design solutions rather than being tied to a specific style. We consistently push beyond the programmatic requirements of projects to create inspirational, environmentally conscious, and meaningful places in the community.
Since our founding, Hennebery Eddy Architects has had the privilege of collaborating on hundreds of meaningful projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. Over this time, we have been inspired by an extraordinary group of clients, contractors, consultants, and other collaborators. This monograph, updated in 2017 for the firm’s 25th anniversary, is a chronological timeline of select projects, demonstrating the range, quality, and craft of our work.
