The CQ Gallery: Bringing People Together Through Art

Bozeman art
“A Nod from Across the Room” features kinetic sculptures by Bozeman artist Matthew Beardsley, who first opened his show during our annual Winterval celebration in February. As part of the Downtown Bozeman Art Walks summer series, the show’s closing reception on June 9 will feature additional installations.

Starting this week, Hennebery Eddy’s Bozeman studio will welcome community members into our CQ Gallery as part of the 2023 Downtown Bozeman Art Walks. Organized by the Downtown Bozeman Association and sponsored by more than 30 local businesses, the longstanding Art Walks summer tradition is held from 6 to 8 p.m. on the second Friday of each month, June through September. Our gallery series kicks off Friday, June 9, with artist Matthew Beardsley sharing his closing exhibition of kinetic sculptures — which were inspired by a piece he first encountered in our studio.

Hennebery Eddy believes that community engagement is paramount to a successful and holistic architectural practice. Maintaining active relationships by supporting cultural groups and celebrating local artists keeps the arts alive and well in Bozeman, and making art accessible to everyone inspires engagement and creates a feeling of community belonging. We look forward to meeting new faces, being inspired, and providing a space for local art to thrive this summer.
