Hennebery Eddy Architects is honored to be recognized as the Popular Choice Winner in the Best Sustainable Firm category for the 2025 Architizer A+Awards — the world’s largest awards program celebrating outstanding architecture. Out of a large pool of entries from more than 80 countries, the firm was named one of five global finalists in the Best Sustainable Firm category. The Popular Choice award winner was then selected by the voting public, with hundreds of thousands of votes cast across all categories. As a winner, Hennebery Eddy will be featured in A+Awards anthology, “Architizer: The World’s Best Architecture” for 2025. We’re honored to be recognized alongside such an inspiring group of global firms.
The firm is also honored to receive Special Mention in two other categories: Best Adaptive Reuse and Renovation Firm, and Libraries, for our design of the net-zero energy and fossil fuel-free Multnomah County Library Operations Center. Out of thousands of submissions, fewer than 5% were chosen as Special Mentions identifying design leadership.

With a global audience of more than 400 million, the A+Awards focus on the appreciation of meaningful design and its potential for a positive impact on everyday life. Judging criteria focused on form, function, and impact and how firms use design to drive performance and sustainability outcomes, with winners selected by a jury that includes industry leaders and other design thinkers.
