Hennebery Eddy designs aviation and transportation facilities that welcome travelers to their communities, foster public safety, and contribute to a sustainable future. We bring a deep understanding of how to create inspiring, memorable experiences for the traveling public and have expertise working with airports and airlines, transit agencies, and planning and design partners throughout the country.
Hennebery Eddy has been a trusted adviser to airports for 20 years, with extensive work at major airports in our region. We use our understanding of aviation to go beyond the basics, creating airport spaces uniquely tied to their locale, giving passengers an intuitive sense of place and connection to their travel destinations.
We design both mainline contact gates and ground-loading concourse configurations, restrooms and concessions, holdrooms, circulation, and ticket lobbies that welcome passengers with daylight, views, and connections that enhance the passenger experience.
A high-quality passenger experience equates to a successful bottom line. Our team brings forward thoughtful design solutions that contribute to increased dwell time and revenue per enplanement.
Our experience working with airports includes projects in operational, administrative, and passenger areas — ranging from major capital improvements to smaller specialized projects.
We work with many of the major West Coast carriers and hold master contracts with several airlines to provide on-call services. We know how to work with airline brand and proprietary standards, plan optimized operational spaces, and design “like-for-like” relocations fitting within lease requirements.
Working with airline innovation teams, we design flow-through and traditional ticketing, including future biometric flexibility.
Our designs for airline lounge spaces help entice passengers and enhance brand loyalty.
We master plan and design optimized operational spaces focused on efficiency.
Traveling is about connections — between people, places, and the built environment — and it doesn’t end at the airport curb. Connections extend to a range of multi-modal transit types, including bus, advanced air mobility, rideshare, rental cars, rail, streetcar, and bike. We draw on our experience working across a range of public and private markets, including transit, to inform our approach to these spaces, with an eye toward sustainability.
We believe in making others successful. Hennebery Eddy has a proven history of collaborating with planning and design partners to provide aviation and mobility clients with strong teams and deep bench strength. If you seek a design-forward teammate, let’s chat.
