“What excites me most about architecture is the limitless potential for learning and growth, and the opportunity to engage creative, technical, and social aspects of the brain. I believe that the best design solutions are collaborative ones, incorporating the ideas and vision of not just the design team, but the client and community as well.”

Erica is a highly organized and thorough project architect and manager with experience leading teams on large-scale commercial developments and projects with highly aspirational sustainability goals. She is committed to a holistic design process and is a leader at Hennebery Eddy and the broader community on sustainable and equitable design. She serves as vice chair of the City of Portland Planning Commission, providing leadership on the intersections of land use policy, climate, and social equity. Erica is adept at coordinating project teams across complex structures and programmatic requirements and has experience navigating regulatory and code issues. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from Lewis & Clark College and a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon.
