Jane Barker, AIA

Associate Principal

“Enjoyment comes from working with clients and colleagues who are inspired to create places that are comfortable, functional, engaging, and beautiful while achieving programmatic, institutional, financial, and environmental goals. Listening to client’s aspirations, asking insightful questions, keeping focused, and generating positive outcomes supports a successful process.”

Students, staff, and faculty at colleges and universities throughout the West Coast have benefited from Jane’s campus planning and academic project leadership. The veteran higher education architect and project manager has designed more than 700,000 square feet of classroom, residential, and community spaces on more than a dozen college and university campuses. She also has deep experience with independent K-12 schools, public libraries, and sustainable design. Prior to joining Hennebery Eddy, Barker was a senior project manager at Oregon State University–Cascades, overseeing and guiding the development of the new Bend campus. Jane is a member of the Society of College and University Planners and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon.
