Hennebery Eddy worked with the City of Hillsboro to expand the second floor of their main library, providing space for additional collections, seating, study rooms, staff areas, and meeting spaces. A new central stair was a key design element to orient patrons and to provide a clear and open connection between floors. Circulation space on the second floor was designed to double as art gallery space featuring local artists, and a reconfigured entrance lobby created a spacious and welcoming interior signifying arrival to this important civic space.
